| CEO issues notification for 11th Phase of Panchayat Elections | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 26:
Chief Electorate Officer, B R Sharma has issued notification for 11th Phase of Panchayat Elections in the State.
As per notification, the election are being held in 11th phase in block Zaingeer of district Baramulla, block Bandipora of district Bandipora, block Pulwama of district Pulwama, block Pulwama of district Pulwama, block Qazigund of district Anantnag, block Drabshalla of district Kishtwar, block Marmat of district Doda, block Ramsoo of district Ramban, block Bhalwal of district Jammu and block Surankote and block Bafliaz of district Poonch.
The date of issue of notification for above mentioned blocks is April 27, last date for making nominations is May 4, the date of scrutiny of nominations is May 5, last date for withdrawal of candidature is May 7 and date of poll/counting wherever necessary is May 25.
The Election Authority has fixed the hours from 8 00 am to 2 00 pm as the hours during which the poll shall, if necessary, be taken on May 25.
The Counting of votes will take place at 3 pm on the same day at a place to be notified by the concerned District Panchayat Election officer (Deputy Commissioner).
