| Sham asks engineers to ensure quality of work | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 26- Minister for Health & Family Welfare Mr. Sham Lal Sharma today paid visit to village Sangani-Badola in Akhnoor and took stock of the progress of construction work of General Nursing College there.
He was accompanied by Managing Director, J&K Housing Board, Mr. Daleep Thussu, Chief Medical Officer, Jammu Dr. Baldev Raj Sharma, SDM, Akhnoor Mr. Ashok Sharma and other officers of Housing Board and Health department.
The Minister was apprised that the work on the project is in full swing and Rs. 50 lakh have been spent so far. The total estimated cost of the project is Rs. 5.35 crore and will be completed within a period of one year. The total plinth area of the two-storied building is around 2600 sft which comprises academic and residential blocks besides laboratories and other allied facilities.
He stressed for ensuring quality of work and completion of project in a time bound manner.
