| TA jawan, 3 others sent to JIC | | |
Jammu, Apr 26: For their alleged involvement in the smuggling of arms and ammunition, Mendhar police today sent a territorial army jawan and three others to JIC here. They were sent to JIC for their detailed interrogation, police sources said.
They were identified as 156 Bn TA jawan Liaqat Hussain of Lanjot, Balakote, SPO Parveez of Gursai, Mendhar, Mohammed Mahroof (follower in SOG, Mendhar) and Mehmood Ahmed of Dhara Dubsi, Mendhar.
These persons were apprehended for possessing Pak-made arms and ammunition.
After their arrest, Safeda Bi, a woman SPO, was also apprehended in Poonch in an alleged case of illegal smuggling of arms.
