| Militants trying to sneak in: BSF | | |

SRINAGAR, Apr 26: IG BSF, Baljit Singh today said that militants were desperate to sneak into the valley but the security forces’ including BSF were ready to foil attempts of infiltration.
"Militants are desperate for infiltration to create disturbance in Kashmir valley but our forces manning the borders are totally ready to foil any attempts of infiltration," Baljit said. He said that with the onset of summer, which has led to melting of snow in higher reaches, the militants have started their attempts to infiltrate into Indian border.
IG BSF said that the security agencies including BSF and army were ready to face the challenge and foil the infiltration attempts. “BSF and Army have kept a tight vigil on the border and are patrolling round the clock to ensure that the militants do not succeed in infiltrating into the valley," he said.
IG BSF said that last month, the security forces’ foiled attempts by militants to infiltrate into the valley.
