SABLO discusses modalities with CEO SASB for setting up Langars

JAMMU, April 27:
A 10-member delegation of the representatives of the Shri Amarnath Barfani Langar Organisation (SABLO) here today met the Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB), R K Goyal and discussed with him the modalities for setting up Langar facility for the pilgrims during the ensuing Yatra to the Holy Cave Shrine of Amarnath, which is scheduled to commence from June 29 simultaneously from the Baltal and Nunwan Base Camps.
During the two-hour long meeting, the delegation made several suggestions for timely setting up of this important facility for the Yatris. They assured the CEO of their whole-hearted support to the Shrine Board’s initiatives to bring about continuing all round improvement in the Yatra-related facilities.
On this occasion, the SABLO reiterated its commitment to fully support the initiatives of the SASB with regard to sanitation related efforts.
The delegation requested the CEO to very early notify the date for the registration of Yatris for the Yatra-2011, so that the intending Yatris are able to timely plan their journey to the Holy Cave Shrine.
The CEO said that, to secure greater synergy amongst all the stakeholders, he would be holding regular coordination meetings with Langar Organizations in the coming weeks.
The delegation led by the President of SABLO, Vijay Thakur, comprised of its General Secretary, Rajan Gupta, Pawan Saboo, Puran Ahuja, Anand Parkash, Ashok Arora, Neetu Khullar, Rajan Kapoor, Vivek Anand and H K Chugh.
