SAI kabaddi coach dies | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, April 27: In an unfortunate happening, a senior kabaddi coach of the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Ramphal Singh of Haryana died of `heart failure’ at GMC Hospital this morning. “Posted at Sports Training Centre (STC) Udhampur for the last one and half year, Ramphal complaint of chest pain yesterday evening and was subsequently shifted to GMC Jammu where he breathed his last this morning. The body was sent to his native place at Kaithal in Haryana where he was cremated this afternoon by the family members,” incharge Assistant Director of STC Udhampur, Satish Kumar Sharma told SAN. Meanwhile, the shocked trainees at STC Udhampur held a condolence meeting instead of morning assembly and suspended day’s normal working to pay regard to the departed soul.
