Villagers held protest at Akalpore

Jammu, April 27: Residents of the village Akalpur, Sarora and Lower Muthi including women and children held protest against the authorities against the non completion of blacktopping of lower Muthi to Akalpur road.
It is pertinent to mention here that the road is in bad shape and despite repeated requests to the concerned authorities; they have failed to take appropriate steps for its betterment.
Led by Raj Roop Singh, locals raised slogans against the administration.
People alleged that despite repeated pleas no steps are being taken to improve the condition of the road. They alleged that due to the bad condition of the road, people are facing lot of problems.
Those who participated in the protest included Pawan Kumar, Rocky, Natha Ram, Beli Ram Sharma, Janak Raj, Lucky, Barita Ram, Kans Raj, Johny, Ghaar Singh, Sunni Manhas, Subhash Chander, Sham Lal, Avtar, Shail Singh and Rohit Chib.
