| MOTIVATION TO JOIN ARMY | | |

In the current times where the lure of money has more appeal than the charm and pride of leading men in war, the Army felt it was high time the youth of our nation are given a glimpse of the valorous and glorious traditions of our Army through a promotion campaign. The campaign encompasses familiarizing camaraderie, and the potent weapon arsenal with the Army, said a PIB (Defence Wing) release.
General Officer Commanding Tiger Division, Major General Sanjeev Loomba inaugurated the function today when 300 students of 11th and 12th standard from various schools in Jammu visited Sunjuwan Brigade as part of their familiarization programme. They were shown the various institutions and training facilities weapons and equipments held with an Infantry Regiment Battalion. The students got a first hand account of the excellent lifestyle that Army has to offer. The efforts of the Army will help motivate the youth in choosing Army not any as their profession but as their ‘way of life’. |
