JAMMU, April 27: Samooh Theatre Staged a solo play today here at K L Sehgal hall , cultural academy Complex , Jammu
“Ek Kahani Yeh Bhi” is an autobiography of famous writer Mannu Bhandari which depicts all the incidents since her nostalgia to womanhood. All these incidents have played very major role in her life to become a writer.
In this series of unforgettable incidents she has quoted the references of her revolt ness about her revolt to the family especially her father’s attitude towards female baby who has always been criticized by her father in terms of her modern thoughts, progressiveness and liberty and freedom as well.
She also highlights the references of her female teacher Sheela Agarwal and period of India’s Independence in which she was very actively involved.
The play was performed by Sunidhi Sharma and designed and directed by the renowned and young Director Ravinder Sharma.
