| KV Gandhi Nagar celebrates annual day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 27:
Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 Gandhi Nagar, Jammu celebrated its Annual Day with great pomp and show at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium of Jammu University here today.
Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr Pawan Kotwal was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The programme started with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest which was followed by Sarswati Vandana and cultural programme.
On the occasion, cultural items including, Welcome Song, Rajasthani Dance, Action songs, Garba, English & Hindi plays and FUSION Dance, depicting the spirit of unity in diversity of the national character of the country and the rich talent of the children.
Principal Dr Chitra Mishra presented the Annul Report of the achievements of the students and teachers in the field of academics, co-curricular activities and administration.
Dr Pawan Kotwal in his address appreciated the efforts made by the students and teachers in preparing the programme for the Annual Function. He expressed his happiness over the achievements made by the students and staff in different fields of activities.
B D Sharma Ex Edu Officer KVS (JR) distributed the prizes among the students and teachers who have excelled in the field of academics and co-curricular activities at regional, state and national level.
