| Management adopting wrong policies, allege Housing Board employees | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 27:
The employees of J&K Housing Board today observed one day protest dharna under the banner of All J&K Housing Board Employees Association at the office of the Managing Director J&K Housing Board Green Belt Park Gandhi Nagar Jammu. During the dharna problems being faced by the employees were discussed and leaders of the Associations warned the authorities to restrain from the policies which they alleged are going to destroy the existence of the Housing Board as well as the Employees Working on Board establishment.
President of the Association Mohd Farooq addressed the employees who expressed his concern for not redressing the grievances of the employees. Stress was laid on withdrawal of Advertisement for filling of 6 Nos post of Jr. Assistant.
Farooq criticized the wrong policy of the Managing Director for engaging staff retiring from JKPCC in the Housing Board, just to create a lobby for his personal interests, example of such appointment are retired Head Draftsman, Junior Engineers, Executive Engineer and staff for Rajiv Gandhi Avas Yojna.
Recently the Managing Director has made his mind to appoint one more JE from JKPCC Rajan Kapahi just to strengthen his lobby and damage the image of Housing Board.
Sr. Vice President Bal Krishan Sharma also addressed the gathering and warned the Administration to fill up the vacant posts immediately by the employees who are due for their promotions and these posts be filled without any pick and choose policy and without malafide practice.
