Soldiers shot dead, Omar says ‘unfortunate’

Srinagar, Apr 28 (IBNS) Four Indian Army soldiers were shot dead by their colleagues in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
One of the soldiers went on a firing spree inside his camp, thereby killing his four colleagues.
One soldier was injured and those killed in the incident at the 452 Rashtriya Rifles camp in Bijbehara in Anantnag also included a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), reports said.
The jawan who shot down his colleagues is said to have had an argument with them before the incident.
An investigation has been ordered into the incident.Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah has condoled the murder of the soldiers.“It is a very unfortunate incident. We will take corrective measures,” said Abdullah.
