Clear movement permissions of Gujjars: GUF | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, April 28: The J&K Gujjars United Front (GUF) has strongly criticized the district administrations of Jammu, Samba and Kathua for not clearing the movement permissions of Gujjar and Bakerwal Tribes. The Gujjars and Bakerwals move to high reaches of the state during summer seasons. In a press statement issued by president of the Front, Shah Mohammad Chowdhary, it is stated that the district administrations of Jammu, Samba and Kathua are not attending to the problems of migratory Gujjars and Bakerwals. Chowdhary said hundreds of applications are pending disposal with these district administrations. The people of this tribal community have been visiting the offices of said administrations, but no heed is being paid to their grievances. The Livestock/ Cattle of the tribals are not getting fodder due to delay caused in granting permission. Chowdhary urged these district administrations to clear the permission cases without any further delay.
