| YSS beats ACC by 9 runs | | | Early Times Report
BHADERWAH, April 28: Young Star Cricket Club Doda (YSCC) defeated Assar Cricket Club (ACC) by 99 runs in the ongoing Police ‘Public Friendly Cricket Tournament’ organised by District Police Doda at Sports stadium Bhadarwah.
Earlier the toss was won by YSCC and they elected to bat first. While batting they scored a total of 177 runs in their stipulated overs by losing 6 wickets. From YSCC Adil malik and Waseem scored the highest with 58 and 32 runs respectively while from opponent side Farooq and Tanveer took 2 and 1 wickets respectively.
In reply, ACC Assar could not chase the target and was bundled out for 77 runs. From ACC players Khalid and Farooq scored 41 and 9 runs while from YScc Adil Malik and Yasir Dar took 4 and 2 wickets respectively.
Later on Adil Malik of Young Star Cricket Club Doda was adjudged as Man of the Match for his best all round performance.
