Ramisht college organises awareness camp on illiteracy

JAMMU, April 28: The Ramisht College of Education, Basohli organized an awareness campaign on “Eradication of Illiteracy among the Girls in the Rural Areas”. A sanitation campaign was also launched in collaboration with NSS Club, Woman Club and Adult Education Club of the college.
During the campaign different student groups visited Basohli, Mandla, Rehan, Ghagrore, Nagrota, Plassi and Plakh participants addressed number of meeting which were attended by villagers. The students also highlight the importance of the education especially for the girls. A general awareness about the proper hygiene and sanitation was also provided to help people to protect themselves from various diseases. They also stressed on giving up drugs and other bad habits which create discord within the community and families.
