| Big win for DPS in U-17 football | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 28: Delhi Public School (DPS) registered a big 5-0 win over St. Xavier Barnai in under-17 category of the ongoing inter-school football tournament of Jammu district, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at GGM Science College ground, here today.
Gurjot Singh netted two goals while Sachin, Bhanu Partap and Ilamul Haq added one each.
In other under-17 matches, JP World School, MHAC Nagbani and KC Public emerged winners.
Meanwhile, as per a handout issued here today, the trials in girls’ football and cricket events of Jammu district shall start tomorrow.

Under-19: JP World bt Army School Domana 1-0; MHAC Nagbani bt Army School Jammu Cantt 3-2; KC Public School bt Spring Dales School 1-0; JP World bt Army School Domana 1-0; DPS bt St. Xavier Barnai 5-0.
Under-17: Ashoka Academy bt DPS 3-0; MHAC Nagbani bt BSF 3-2; Ashoka Academy bt Alexander Memorial School 3-1.
