JKNPP condemns cross voting by BJP MLAs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, April 28: Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today held a meeting at its Headquarters to discuss the cross voting which took place in the recently held elections for the Council Seats. In the meeting, the party expressed anguish over the corruption involved in the cross voting. The party Secretariat condemned the ruling alliance of National Conference and Congress for allegedly purchasing votes from BJP in favour of their candidates for ensuring their victory. It is equally condemnable that the BJP ignoring the party whip voted in favour of ruling alliance. The BJP Legislators not only betrayed their own party but they also betrayed the people who had put faith in them by electing them to the Assembly. The JKNPP Secretariat was of the opinion that the horse trading indulged by the NC, Congress and BJP has shocked the democracy loving people of the state. The meeting was presided over the Working Chairman Harsh Dev Singh MLA and attended by Balwant Singh Mankotia MLA State President, Yashpual Kundal MLA, Daljit Singh Vice-President, Anita Thakur and HC Jalmeria.
