| Govt keen to promote private sector: Sham | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
AKHNOOR, April 28:
Minister for Health Sham Lal Sharma today inaugurated the third biggest exclusive LG consumer show room, Kameshwar Adarsh Electronics near old bridge here.
First of its kind in the area, the show room will facilitate the consumers with different consumer products of LG brand, a leading electronic company in the market. Kameshwar Adarsh Electronics is the third biggest show room in the State after Srinagar and Jammu cities where wide range of products will be available to the consumers.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the Government is keen to promote private sector in all sectors of economy to open up job avenues for the unemployed persons. He said youth should take to self employment schemes under which host of incentives including capital and interest subsidy are available.
Once the self employment venture picks up, the entrepreneur becomes employment generator not only for himself but for many others, he maintained.
Congratulating the owner of the show room Adarsh Gupta, the Minister said that his venture will prove useful for the local consumers particularly the ruralities, who otherwise had to purchase such products from Jammu.
AGM LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd, Rajendra K. Gupta, who was also present on the occasion, informed that the company has made an effort to come closer to the rural population to facilitate them in choosing out of wide range of LG products at their doorstep.
A large number of members of business community and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
