| Employee leader to approach PM, CM against SVO | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 28: President PHE Employees Welfare Association Om Prakash Sharma has decided to approach Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh as well as Chief Minister Omar Abdullah against State Vigilance Organization.
In a press statement issued here today. Sharma has alleged that SVO disappointed him by recommending his case to the same person against whom he had raised the finger of suspicion. According to him, a complaint was lodged against the Chief Engineer PHE, Jammu namely Dalip Bakshi by him pertaining to large scale corruption taking place in the PHE Department, Jammu. The said complaint was filed in the office of Commissioner State Vigilance Organization (SVO).
He has added that state vigilance organization after conducting the so-called enquiry raised two frivolous and meaningless observations and to the utter surprise and against the principles of natural justice, advised him to interact with Chief Engineer, PHE Jammu making mockery of law, which is well settled by the Supreme Court that no one can be judge of his own guilt and fault.
