| Mangat finalizes arrangements for celebrating birth anniversary of Late Indira Gandhi | | |

Arrangements for celebrating birth anniversary of Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi great national leader were finalized at a high level meeting with Minister for Health and Medical Education Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma in chair here today.
The meeting decided that the parking for vehicles coming outside city were identified to avoid inconvenience to the people coming to participate in the celebrations at Parade Ground Jammu. It was also decided that PHE department will ensure drinking water cum tanker services available at various points for the people.
In addition the health department will set up first aid centers besides keeping ambulances equipped with medical aid available.
The Jammu Municipal Corporation will ensure sanitation in and around the parade ground besides ensuring mobile toilets there.
The meeting was told that in order to highlight the celebration of this great National Leader, all the local channels have agreed to give live telecast of the function.
Besides other officers the meeting was attended by the Ex-Ministers and MLA Mr. Yogesh Sawhney, Mr. Raman Bhalla, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Mr. Parmoad Jain, Deputy Commissioner Jammu Mr. Hirdesh Kumar Singh, Mayor of Jammu Chowdhary Manmohan Singh, Director colleges Mr. N.D Wani, Chief Engineer M& RE Mr. R.L Sharma, SSP Jammu, SSP Traffic, SE PHE and SE PDD were also present in the meeting. |
