Trooper kills 4 colleague | | | Srinagar, Apr 28 (KNS): A Rastriya Rifles trooper went on a shooting spree inside an army camp in Anantnag district Thursday, killing four of his colleagues, reports said.Reports said four troopers including a Junior Commissioned Officer died on the spot. One soldier was also injured in the incident that occurred at the 52 Rashtriya Rifles camp in Bijbehara in Anantnag, reports added.The trooper who shot down his colleagues is said to have had an argument with them before the incident.The slain Army personnel have been identified as JCO Jaipal Singh, Naik Indersen Singh, Constable Ram Lakhan Sharma and Sepoy Solanki Dantree while another trooper Babu Lal was seriously injured. Army spokesman, Lt Col J S Brar confirmed the killings and said that the trooper who shot dead his colleagues was arrested. A number of soldiers have been killed in similar incidents in the past in Kashmir. Stress has been blamed for more than 70 deaths in shooting incidents since 2001.
