11/18/2006 11:13:23 PM

New Delhi, Nov 18
India on Friday said it was not worried over the test firing of Pakistan's nuclear capable ballistic missile Hatf V.
"We are also enough nuclear capable," Defence Minister AK Antony on Friday said, adding, "there is no need to worry."
Antony's statement came just a day after Pakistan test-fired its 1,300 km range nuclear-capable ballistic missile Hatf V, on Thursday.
Commenting on the US Senate's passing of the Indo-US Civilian Nuclear agreement on Friday, the minister said, "This is just a step forward but we have to wait for the final output."
"Let's wait and watch for the final output."
Antony, who was speaking on the sidelines of a function to felicitate the Param Vir Chakra (PVC) awardees in New Delhi at India International Trade Fair, when asked said, India has already clarified its position on the Siachen issue.
Defence Minister felicitated 16 PVC awardees and praised Army's role in defending country's boundaries especially in the Jammu and Kashmir.
"The scourge of terrorism faced by the J&K since the last decade and a half is now on the wane. The credit for the decline of terrorism goes to both 'Jawan and Awam'," he said.

The felicitation ceremony was part of J&K Utsav day, organised by the Armed Forces in tandem with IITF-2006 to exhibit role of armed forces played in the state to help the civilian to live their life better and terror free.

Among others present on the occasion were Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and Army Chief JJ Singh.
