SOIL welcomed Omar’s statement to recruit locals in industries | | | Early Times Report KATHUA, April 29: The Saviour of Innocent Labour (SOIL) a social and non governmental organization welcomed the CM Omar Abdulla’s statement to recruit the locals in industries on priority level, when he was addressing a meeting of the chambers of Commerce in Jammu. The SOIL vice president Ram Paul Sharma said that if it is the serious and intentional efforts of the CM Omar Abdullah to give the preference to locals in industrial job opportunities to curb the problem of unemployment in state then it is very positive and result oriented initiative of Omar. The vice president said that the industrial sector in Jammu and Kashmir has more than 95% recruitment from out of the state and negligible number of local employees. The industrial managements are violating the norms to recruit the 95% locals if any local gets job then the management deliberately adopts tactical way to remove the local industrial employee from the industries in order to give that employment to the people of out of the state.
