| Science awareness mela concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 29:
A three day Science Awareness Mela concluded within the premises of Carmel Convent School, Kunjwani.
In the Mela various events such as debate competition, science behind Miracle workshop, Puppetry show workshop, essay writing competition, painting competition, science based drama and science model exhibition were organized.
Apart from this, teacher orientation workshop was also organized to train them in the field of NCSC of other fields.
About 50 different schools of Jammu District (both Government and Private) participated in the various programmes as stated above. The programme was organized by National Council for Urban and Rural Development Society, Jammu in Collaboration with Directorate of School Education, J&K and supported by RVPSP, Department of Science & Technology, Govt of India, New Delhi.
Various master resource persons from different states were also invited for imparting various training programmes.
