| Conference on CME being organized by Command Hospital Udhampur | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, April 29: A Continuing Medical Education (CME) conference is being organised by Command Hospital Udhampur on the 30th of April and 1st of May 2011. The theme of the CME is `Cutting Edge Technology in Surgery.
The deliberations are going to focus on the latest advances in all the disciplines of surgery including the allied specialities viz Opthalmology, Otorhinology and Gynaecology as well as the diagnostic sciences like Radiology and Pathology. A number of interactive sessions have also been incorporated in the form of panel discussions, quiz, free paper and poster sessions.
Lt General Jasbir Singh PVSM, AVSM, VSM, Chief of Staff, Northern Command will be inaugurating the CME. Maj General DS Pathania, Commandant, Command Hospital will be delivering the welcome address wherein he will set the tone for the deliberations to follow.
The other eminent speakers for the CME will be Dr Sujoy Pal, Associate Professor of Gastro-Intestinal Surgery and Liver Transplantation of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Dr SS Baijal, Head of the Department of Interventional Radiology at Vedanta Medicity Hospital, Gurgaon and a number of eminent speakers from the Armed Forces Medical Services will be sharing their experiences.
