Football: JK Public enters U-17, U-14 finals | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, April 29: Giving their best, the JK Public School boys today made it to the finals of both under-14 and under-17 categories in the ongoing inter-school football tournament of Jammu district, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at GGM Science College ground, here. Now, JK Public shall play for double title when take on the opponents in the finals tomorrow at the same venue. In the under-14 final, JK Public shall play against MHAC Nagbani. Earlier, in the second semi-final played today, JK Public trounced Jodhamal Public School by two goals to one. Ranvijay and Ruman were the scorers from winners. Later, in under-17 group semifinals, JK Public defeated JP World School 3-2 in an interesting game that was decided in tie-breaker. In other semi-final, Alexander Memorial School registered win over fighting MHAC Nagbani 4-3 again in tie-breaker. Earlier, in the under-17 quarterfinal, Alexander Memorial beat KC International 5-4 in tie-breaker and JP World outplayed BSF School Paloura 4-1, again in tie-breaker. MHAC Nagbani beat Delhi Public School by a solitary goal to reach the semifinals.
