| M.L Pandit's two books released | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 30: M. L Pandita’s book ‘Barsali’ and ‘Yeli Ba Canada’ was today released during a function organised at J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL).
MLC, Vijay Bakaya was the chief guest on the occasion while Secretary Cultural Academy, Zaffar Iqbal Manhas and Prof P N Trishal was the guest of honour.
Mohan Lal Aash noted Kashmiri writer presented a paper on the book ‘Barsaali’while reading he admired the style and grip of the author on
Kashmiri language. He also gave a brief account of the stories portrayed in the book.
R.L Jawahar noted Kashmiri critic and poet read out appear on trbavelogue ‘Yeli Ba Canda Gos’ and highlighted the Knowledge and experience of the Author. Bakaya in his address congratulated and appreciated the efforts of cultural academy for abiding the tradition of organizing countless literary and Cultural programme .
He further said that the Kashmiri literature which has been written for the last 20 year has special meaning and exceptional in a style and content.
In his address Zaffar Iqbal Manhas disclosed that the Academy is going to initiate number new projects and to fulfill the same he will have a need and support of the Writers and artists especially for new publishing numbers.
Additional Secretary Central, Shamima Akhtar was the in charge programme also conducted the proceeding of the programme and presented vote of thanks.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Prof. R.L. Shant, Harsh She Bhai, Gulam Nabi Aitish, Prem Nath Shad and Payara Lal Hatash beside others.
