| HSS Kastigarh clinches Bhagwah open Volleyball Championship | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, April 30: Under Operation Sadhbhavana and with its mission to bridge the gap between army and public especially among youth and further to channelize their energies for constructive and productive progress, a Volleyball Championship was organized by 10 Rashtriya Rifles (RAJPUT) of Doda unit at Governmnet. Higher Secondary School Bhagwah (Doda) and the final of which was played between GHSS Kastigarh and GHSS Bhagwah team.
Col. V.S.Guleria, Commanding Officer (CO) 10 RR was the Chief Guest while 2IC 10RR Mr. Tanay Kothiyal was also present on the occasion.
In this volleyball championship a total number of 8 teams drawn from the different schools of the area participated which included GHSS Gurmul, Middle School Bhagwah, GHS Kanal, Middle School Ganika, GHSS Doda, GHSS Bhagwah, GHSS Sazan and GHSS Kastigarh.
The final match was played on best of 5 game and out of 5, GHSS Kastigarh won 3 while the GHSS Bhagwah take 2 game resulting into which the GHSS Kastigarh clinch the final match by 3-2.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest CO 10 RR Guleria praised all the participating teams for showing their sportsmanship and also encourage them to excel in all sports activities in the future. He also thanked the staff of GHSS Bhagwah for their active support and cooperation during this tournament.
It is important to mention here that it was first time that such a championship has been organized in this remote region of the District which was witnessed by huge gathering.
