| Alexander, MHAC Nagbani win football titles | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 30: Beating J K Public School in finals, MHAC Nagbani School and Alexander Memorial bagged under-14 and under-17 titles respectively in annual inter-school football tournament of Jammu district held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at GGM Science College ground, here today.
In the under-14 final, Nagbani School defeated J K Public School by a solitary goal. The only goal of the match was scored by Kajal Singh.
Later, in under-17 football final, Alexander Memorial School registered 1-0 win over JK Public School. Abhishek netted the all important goal of the well contested final.
Meanwhile, according to the organizers, only one team representing Army School Domana turned up in this district level competition.
Today’s finals were officiated by team of officials, including Ajay Kumar, Satpal, Gagan Kumar, Vishal Bharti, Rohit Gupta, Ravinder Singh, Harvinder Kour and Jyoti Sharma.
