PNB organises free medical check up camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, April 30: Punjab National Bank (PNB) in collaboration with Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences (ASCOMS), Sidhra today organized a free medical camp at village Harsha Dabbar in Bishnah. A team of doctors from ASCCOMS hospital attended to about 3000 residents of the area for a free medical check up including on spot Eye Testing. Free medicines were also distributed to the people who came for check up. Punjab National Bank also arranged opening of Smart Card based accounts of about 270 persons who visited the camp. This village has been allocated by State Level Banker’s Committee (SLBC) to PNB for total Financial Inclusion. The Bank has already issued 115 Kissan Credit Cards (KCCs) in this village apart from sanctioning loan for other activities like Retail Lending and Small Business. PNB also proposed to cover all the farmers of the area by issuing Kissan Credit Cards (KCCs). Chief Manager, Circle Office Jammu A K Mota along with District Coordinator PNB S S Chib, Surinder Gupta, Manager PNB Bishnah Branch, Surinder Gupta and other officials of the bank were present in the camp. The camp was organised under the stewardship of Deputy General Manager PNB, J&K Operations Ashok Gupta.
