| 483 candidates pass exam in AF recruitment rally | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, APRIL 30:
The number one Airman Selection Centre based at Ambala had organized the Air force recruitment rally at Air force Station Udhampur from April 26 to May 1.
The purpose of the recruitment rally was to reach out to the youths of Jammu And Kashmir State and motivate them to on the Indian Air force as Airmen.
The response was very over welcoming where in as many as a total of 2360 candidates appeared for the written exam out of which 483 candidates had passed the exam.
The passed candidates further underwent various stages of selection which included verification of education certificate, physical fitness test, interview and finally medically examination.
In his concluding address Wing Commander R Kanan, Commanding Officer 1 Airmen selection center thanked the District Administration who had provided tremendous support in coordination with the Air Force authorities at Air Force Station Udhampur for the smooth and successful conduct of the recruitment rally at Udhampur.
