Leader of POK delegation falls sick | Heart to Heart Talks postponed | | Early Times Report Jammu Apr 30:- 3rd Intra J&K ‘Heart to Heart’ Talks-2011 have been postponed by a month. Sardar Mohd. Abdul Qayyum Khan (86), Supremo of the ruling Muslim Conference of POK who was heading a 40-member delegation to participate in the 3rd Intra J&K ‘Heart to Heart’ Talks has suddenly fallen sick at his residence in Islamabad. A board of doctors attending him advised complete rest. Prof. Bhim Singh, Convenor of the 3rd Intra J&K ‘Heart to Heart’ Talks-2011, was informed about the fact at 2.30 in the morning. The organizers from both sides of LoC announced after consultation to postpone the talks till middle of June, 2011. Prof. Bhim Singh, Convenor of the conclave expressed gratitude to the notables of Ladakh, Kashmir, Jammu, Gilgit and Muzaffrabad for having accepted the invitation to attend three-day conclave in New Delhi which was scheduled from May 1 to May 3, 2011. Prof. Bhim Singh expressed thanks to Dr. Karan Singh who had agreed to inaugurate the conclave on May 1, 2011 and Sardar Mohd. Abdul Qayyum Khan had agreed to preside over the conclave. Prof. Bhim Singh also expressed thanks to Sheila Dixit, the Chief Minister, NCT of Delhi for participating in a valedictory session on May 3, 2011. Prof. Bhim Singh also expressed thanks . Karan Singh, . Subodh Kant Sahai, Tourism Minister for hosting lunch. He also thanked Ram Jethmalani, President of Bar Association of the Supreme Court, Mufti Mohd. Sayeed, Khalida Begum for having arranged dinners during the talks to the participants. Prof. Bhim Singh also expressed thanks to the galaxy of intellectuals, prominent human rights and social activists several other notables who had agreed to join Heart to Heart Talks. Prof. Bhim Singh expressed gratitude to Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India for ensuring timely visas in favour of the invitees to the talks without any problem or complication.
