| Rasa Javdani society demands setting of Urdu academy | | |

The Rasa Javdani Memorial literary society has strongly criticized the apathetic attitude of the state government in neglecting the official language Urdu in the state.
In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Dr. Shohab Inayat Malik, the society has demanded setting up of Urdu Academy in the state for the promotion of the language.
Dr Malik criticized J&K Cultural Academy of its failure in organizing a seminar in Urdu language during the last so many years.
