| Birth Anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar celebrated | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 1: SC /ST Employees Welfare Association of SBI today celebrated 120th Birth Anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R Ambedkar with fervor.
In an impressive function at Valmiki Colony, K K Iyer DGM, SBI J&K module,was the chief Guest. Colorful programme on the life and mission of Baba Sahib was organized and the SBI , to encourage education of Children, distributed prizes in the form of wrist watches to 10 exemplary children and stationary was supplied to 25 children who in spite of poverty and deprivation, have performed well in studies.
KK Iyer, DGM SBI J&K Module said that the huge task of drafting the Constitution, that runs our country, was entrusted to Baba Saheb and same has proved to be the best Constitution in the world. Adding further Iyer assured that the Bank shall always be ready to in innovate and indulge for the upliftment of the underprivileged.
Ravi Gupta, Arvind Sharma, K.B Barguzar, Sobha Ram, Suresh wali, Daya Ram, Jagtar Singh, Ramesh Sarmal, Tarsem Khullar, Kunal Dass , Rohit Verma were also present in the function.
