Kathua residents seek allotment of land for KV

KATHUA, May 1: Senior citizens of Kathua town today reiterated demand for allotting adequate amount of land to Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV).
In a handout issued here today, Secretary of JKPCC Manohar Singh said that people of Kathua town have been demanding allotment of land for the construction of Kendriya Vidyalaya for the last eight years but the same is being ignored deliberately. He said that the district Kathua administration has failed to provide the 40-45 kanals of land while the administration has enough state land.
They said that struggle will be continue unless the land is not provided to KV by the administration. Those who were present in the press conference included Kartar Verma,, Sushil Gupta, Mulkh Raj Sharma, Mohinder Sharma, Som Raj and Kewal Sharma.
