PM will invite separatists for talks: Ansari | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Apr 30 (KNS): The suspended Hurriyat executive member and patron of Ittihadul Muslimeen, Moulana Abbas Ansari Sunday said that prime Minister, Manmohan Singh would invite separatists fro talks soon. “I was recently told by interlocutors that they would arrange my meeting with the Prime Minister of India. But I categorically told them that the invitation should go to the Hurriyat chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq,” Abbas told KNS. Ansari who was recently suspended from the Hurriyat (M) for meeting center’s interlocutors on Kashmir, claimed that senior BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister of India, L K Advani, ‘will also attend the meeting where Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh will talk to separatists.’ Ansari said that interlocutors want a meaningful dialogue between New Delhi and the separatist leaders. “I stand for the meaningful dialogue and I believe that it is the only way forward,” he said and added that neither New Delhi nor Islamabad can thrust any decision which won’t be acceptable to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Commenting on Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s recent statement regarding stone-pelting, Ansari said, “I have been saying it from day one that Kashmiri nation will achieve nothing out of stone pelting. Now it is s welcome step that Geelani sahib has also said so.”
