| BDF demand transfer of tainted officials, assail transfer policy | | |
DARWAH, Nov 18 Bhadarwah Development Forum (BDF) in its meeting has strongly criticized the transfer policy in various Government Departments especially in PWD, PDD, PHE, Flood Control and Irrigation Department. The Forum has alleged that some blue eyed boys having access to the corridors of power have remained posted at a particular place for last so many years, while the rules provide that the transfers should be made after every two or three years. Their continuous postings at a particular place have given rise to vested interests and have been hampering the government work. The Front further alleged that these officials are burden on the Government exchequer as they are only interested in accumulating the huge wealth on the name of development and there is no check from any quarter like Vigilance of CBI. The Forum has demanded that these tainted officials should be kept under surveillance and transferred to other Districts. The Front said that the Chief Minister during his visit here was also apprised about the matter who had suggested constitution of a Monitoring Committees to check the developmental works, but nothing of that sort has materialized on the ground, the Front felt. Those present at the meeting were Kushal Gupta, Khakan Ahmed Malik, A.H. Khateed , N.A.Tak and Sanjeev Gupta.
