| Impersonator, ETT examinee held | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 01: Police today apprehended an impersonator, who was taking an ETT exam at U P higher secondary school, Channi, in place of a student.The student was also later arrested by police from his hideout, police sources said.
Channi police received an information from invigilators in an examination hall in U P higher secondary school that someone else had appeared in place of the student, whose photo was found fixed on the roll number slip.Soon thereafter, police rushed to the examination centre and took the impersonator into custody, the sources added.He was identified as Pardeep Singh, son of Ishwar Singh of Jindh in Haryana. His interrogation led police to the arrest of the student in whose place he had appeared in the exam. He was identified as Anil Kumar, son of Bhagat Dass of Rohtak, Haryana.A case under sections 420 and 419 of RPC was registered against the accused. |
