| Salesman stabbed to death at Ban Ganga | | | Early Times Report
KATRA, May 1: A youth, who worked as a salesman in a dry fruit shop in PP market at Ban Ganga here, was stabbed to death by four persons while he was having food at a dhaba there.
Bachan Singh, son of Chain Singh of Sunderbani, Rajouri, was having food at a dhaba in PP market at about 11 pm Saturday when he had heated exchanges with three youth who too were stated to had come there for food.
Police sources said the youth later attacked him with sharp-edged weapons and inflicted serious injuries on him. He was admitted to Katra hospital and later referred to the GMC hospital, Jammu, where he died this morning. He worked in a dry fruit shop in PP market for the past about four years.
Police had arrested dhaba owner Sham Lal of Drood, Katra, Mohinder Singh, son of Karan Singh of Suni, Ramnagar, Vijay Singh of Akhnoor and Yashpal of Drood.
A case under sections 307, 302 and 326 of RPC was registered in this connection at the Katra police station. |
