| Inter-school basketball tourney begins | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 02: Two-day inter-school basketball (under-14 and under-17) tournament for Jammu district boys, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), got underway at Mini Stadium, Parade here today.
On the opening day of preliminary rounds, KC Public, Army School Domana and MHAC Nagbani won in both under-14 and under-17 age groups.
Today’s matches were officiated by a penal of officials including Tarseem Singh, Vishal Bharti, Vaneet Pangotra, Dheeraj Pal, Rajesh Bandral, Sat Paul and Ravinder Singh.

Under-17 yr: KC Public School bt BSF School Paloura 23-14; Saint Peters’ High School, BC Road bt Jodhamal 21-13; JK Public School bt St Peters Karan Bagh 15-04; Army School Domana bt Model Academy 32-10; MHAC Nagbani bt SOS 25-0; MHAC Nagbani bt Army School Domana 20-15.
Under-14 yr: Army School Domana bt Model Academy 12-04; MHAC Nagbani bt SOS 09-02; Army School Domana bt JK Public School 24-02; KC Public School bt St Peters’, BC Road 16-08.
