Khajuria releases Rs 5 lakh for constituency development

Jammu, may 2: Bharatiya Janata Party MLA from Jammu East Ashok Khajuria, alongwith district president Rajesh Gupta, visited Chand Nagar, Rani Mandir, Ahata Santein da and Bhagat Singh Chowk areas falling under W.No 19 of his constituency.
He released rupees five lakh for the development of these areas and assured more funds in the future.
Ashok Khajuria while speaking to the local people on the occasion said that he has been regularly visiting different areas of the constituency with a motive to have on the spot assessment of the problems being faced by the people and take up with the concerned departments for early solution.
He said that Jammu East being the oldest and congested constituency and there is need of allocation of more funds for developmental purposes as the narrow lanes, choked drains and old poles of electricity are required to be replaced.
He said that by working for the mitigation of the sufferings of the people, he is not working as a matter of favour but considered it as his sacred duty to do so. He further said that being elected representatives of the constituency which houses population of almost all the religions and castes of the society, he has never discriminated with any one and treated everyone equal.
Khajuria assured that his doors are open for every individual and he is always at the beck and call of the people of his constituency. He also directed the NBCC officials accompaning to immediately lift the pipes lying between Dogra Chowk and Vinayak Chowk for the smooth flow of traffic and pedestrians.
Rajesh Gupta, Sunil Dogra, Raju Pahalwan, Raj Kumar Gupta, Inderjit Khajuria, Ravi Khajuria, Subash Gupta, Anil Bittu, Reshampal Singh, Sub. Gurcharan Singh, Krishan Lal, Ashok Gupta and PWD executive engineer, PWD AEE, JMC AEE, PHE AEE, UEED JE and PDD JE accompanied Ashok Khajuria during his visit of the area.
