| FFPD held seminar at Doda | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 2: Forum for Peace and Development (FFPD), a member organization of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society organized a seminar on the topic “Role of Women in present scenario and their Responsibilities” at Faridia Model High School Doda.
Principal of the School Saidullah Shad Faridabadi was the Chief Guest while Ex.Councillor and Social Activitist Mtr. Nuzhat Iqbal Zargar and Ghulam Hassan Shah were the Guest of honour on the occasion.
The programme was presided over by renowned poet of Doda Mushtaq Faridi. Besides this the work of Judges were carried out by Bishan Singh and Mohammad Ishaq Aarif.
In his inaugural address Chairman of the Forum, Naseer Khora highlighted the various aspects of women related issues and challenges ahead. He also stressed upon the people in general and women folk in particular to come forward for the betterment of the women community.
Students drawn from various classes also participated in the debate and threw light on the topic by narrating their views on the place of women in present society and their responsibilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest and Principal of the School Saidullah Shad Faridabadi thanked the organizing committee and appreciated their efforts for holding such a seminar in their institution on this important topic which will boost up their talent which will go a long way in stimulating all round development of the younger generation.
Ruqaya Banoo, Rubi Rabia and Abu Imran was adjudged as Ist, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
