| CJM rejects bail of LeT sympathiser | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 02: Chief judicial magistrate, Doda, Ashok Kumar today rejected the bail application of LeT sympathiser Bashir Ahmed, son of Abdul Samad, of nullah Bharat.
He was arrested along with a cash of Rs 1,84,000, three mobile phones and two SIM cards.
The accused, as per police report, had confessed to have provided timely financial assistance to LeT militants for keeping militancy alive in the area.
Rejecting his bail application, the court observed that if the accused was bailed out, it might impede the further purposeful investigation in the case and the report of JIC was also not received.
With these observations, the court dismissed the bail application. ( JNF)
