| Free cataract operation organized at Apna Vihar | | | JAMMU | NOV 18
A five day free cataract eye operation camp is being organized at Apna-Vihar, Surechak by Tawi Welfare Society from November 17 to 21.
Te camp was inaugurated by the executive engineer, C.L Koul. Speaking on the occasion Kaul appreciated the role of Tawi Welfare Society and of the doctors who are operating the patient free of cost.
The doctors who are rendering their service for the noble cause are B.M.O Sohanjna, Ashok, Dr. Kulbhushan Anand, Dr Seema Malhotra, Dr. Shakeel and Para medical staff.
During the first two days about 250 patients were treated in OPD, put of which 29 patients were admitted for cataract operation. Society also provides free boarding and lodging to the patients and their attendants.
