JAMMU | NOV 18 To study the socio-economic living conditions and educational facilities to Safai Karamcharis (scavengers) and of their dependents, the chairperson of National Commission for Safai Karamcharis (NCSK) Santosh Choudhary is visiting city of temples on November 22. During her visit Choudhary is scheduled to attend a meeting with the safai karamcharis (daily wagers, part time, contract basis and permanent), scavenger’s representatives of safai karamcharis of Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank. One Nov 24 she will visit the bastis of safai karamcharis working under Jammu Muncipal Corporation along with the deputy commissioner, Municipal Commissioner and Superintendent of Police, Jammu. The said of Choudhary is being coordinated by Punjab National Bank and Chief Executive Officer, Shrine Board, Katra.
