| Panchayats to ensure enhanced development: Madan Lal | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 3: Saying that Panchayats have significant role in a democratic set up, Member Parliament, Madan Lal Sharma today exhorting upon the newly elected Panches and Sarpanches to utilize their powers with utmost accountability and responsiveness for betterment of their respective areas.
MP was addressing a large attended public meeting at Sohanjana, Mandal Phallian block which was also attended by Vice Chairman, Development Board for OBC Kuldeep Raj Verma. MP congratulated newly elected Sarpanches and Panches of the area and express optimism that these newly elected public representatives will deliver their services in a more efficient manner. He said that now the implementation of all welfare and development programmes will be executed on ground level in more logical way.
Madan Lal also appreciated the Coalition Government for ensuring equitable development of all the three regions of the state. He also appealed the people to keep a strict vigil over the development works being executed in their respective areas for optimum results. Speaking on the occasion, Verma felicitated the newly elected Panches and Sarpanches of the area and hoped that they will render their services with utmost zeal and dedication.
