| Lecturers Forum shift office to Srinagar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 3: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum has shifted its head office at Srinagar with the move of Civil Secretariat to the summer capital in accordance with the constitutional framework of the organization.
The Central House of Representatives which met at Jammu under the Chairmanship of H.D Qureshi its state president has decided to shift all the activities of Forum at summer capital for next six month and informed the participating delegates that all the records of the form has already been shifted to Srinagar.
Qureshi while speaking on the occasion of monthly meet of House of Representatives informed the members of House that the All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers Forum has a unique Constitutional Provision that enhance the status of provincial body as state level organization with the move of Darbar from one region to another.
Qureshi informed the House that for the next six months the Kashmir unit of the forum under the chairmanship of Manzoor Ahmed will continue as state body and each and every component of the organization will follow the directives of state body to be taken from Srinagar under the chairmanship of Manzoor Ahmed.
Qureshi further informed that the process of regularization is on cards as per the announcement of Minister of Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed on the occasion of Annual Lecturers Day, besides the upgradation of Hr. Sec Schools as “Intermediate Colleges” and also the decision for “Special Incentives” for the Lecturers working in remote and rural areas of the State.
Qureshi informed the House that the Central Executives has finalized a definite programme of action for a fallow up with a close liaison with the State Body under the leadership of Dr. Manzoor Ahmed.
Others who spoke on the occasion include Charan Dass and Manmeet Bali both vice presidents, N.S Jamwal general secretary, Ashwani Sharma chief organiser, B.D Sharma district president Jammu, besides Kiranjeet Kour and O.P Katoch both co-coordinators.
