Tata Nano fast becoming customers preference, | crosses 10,000 unit sales mark in April | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 3: The Tata Nano has crossed the coveted 10,000 unit sales mark in April 2011. Sales of the Tata Nano were 10,012 nos., higher by 184% over April last year. At the end of April 2011, Tata Motors has delivered 1,10,794 Tata Nanos. Beginning with deliveries to pre-booked orders in July 2009, the company started open sales state by state in August 2010. The Tata Nano is now freely available across the country. In addition to the 619 odd regular sales outlets (of our 254 odd dealerships), Tata Motors has set up Special Nano Access Points (as of now about 210 across the country) where customers can experience, test-drive or test-ride (several do not know driving) the car. Besides, the car is also being made available through about 151 Tata Authorised Service Centres. The Tata Nano comes with a 4-year / 60,000-km (whichever is earlier) manufacturer's warranty, at no extra cost. Tata Motors Finance (TMF), which provides finance for all Tata Motors vehicles, offers a special Tata Nano finance scheme, under which a customer can get from 90% to 100% loan with select documents in just 48 hours. Besides, Tata Motors has tied up with 29 banks and NBFCs to offer customers loans for purchasing the Tata Nano at attractive rates of interest. |
