Omar rules out HM’s Osama link | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, May 4 : Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has expressed surprise over reports that Hizbul Mujahideen provided shelter to Osama bin Laden before he was killed by US forces. Soon after the Cnadian newspaper reported that Bil Laden was sheltered by Hizbul Mujahideen Omar tweeted, "very strange. We have not seen any institutional link on the ground in Jammu and Kashmir to suggest this sort of close relationship". Earlier in the day Omar devoted quality time to pay tribute to Arunanchal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu. Angry with the sad developments, Omar tweeted," we'll make a lot of noise & order inquiries & then forget about it till the next one goes down. This is 2nd CM in my short tenure. May my friend the CM of Arunachal Pradesh rest in peace & may the Almighty give his family the strength to bear this great loss. One of Omar Abdullahs friends replied," I just hope this is a wake up call for all other states to audit their choppers. Stay safe.
