| District level cricket tournament commences at Poonch | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Poonch May 04: MLA, Haveli Ajaz Ahmed Jan inaugurated a 11-day long district level cricket tournament at Poonch here today.
SSP Ashkoor Wani, chairman of District Cricket Committee, Poonch, was guest of honour.
Addressing the gathering, the MLA lauded the efforts of District Cricket Committee for organizing tournaments of different sports in the area to enable the sportsmen to participate in state, national and international level games.
He assured all help to promote sports in the district.
As many as 16 teams are participating in the tournament.
